So I only JUST NOW discovered that having a Gmail account also creates a blogger account for you. The discovery was an accident, really. I was posting a comment on someone else's blog when it recognized me by name. This was a bit startling since I had never, to my knowledge, registered here. I was registered here, of course, and as soon as I found this out, I began putting this site together. The rest, as they say, is history.

In retrospect, I should have known since I've seen the distinctive, white-on-orange 'B' on Google's 'Even more...' page when I went looking for things like SketchUp and Picasa.
Well, whatever. I guess I can use this site for now. As you all may know, I do have a registered domain, sockninja.net, and I hope to have a site up and running there by the end of the month, or at least by the end of June. I may actually use both sites. I may even come up with a clever way to have them mirror each other. We shall see...
